Oracle Security Audit and Assessment
The Oracle security audit is a structured and repeatable process driven by a methodology that is comprehensive in nature.
The security audit examines the Oracle database instance(s), the Oracle software installation, the Oracle listener and networking components, the host operating system, and general healthof your databases and applications.
The audit is as non-intrusive as is possible. No data is created, modified, or deleted and no database objects are created.
Oracle Security and Audit Training
This course will teach students the fundamentals of Oracle security audits and allow them to confidently conduct an audit of an Oracle database and software installation.
The focus of the training is how to review a database and not just running scripts. Understanding what issues exist, why they are issues, how to check for the existence of these issues, and most important, understanding the implications of these issues with respect to your databases and applications are the most important lessons students will take from the course.
